Eating Disorders

Healing from an eating disorder isn’t about control, willpower, or fitting into a rigid recovery model—it’s about finding a way to care for yourself that actually works for you. I provide neurodiversity-affirming therapy for people navigating all types of eating disorders, including ARFID, anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and other complex relationships with food and body image.

For neurodivergent individuals, traditional treatment can feel invalidating or inaccessible. If food feels overwhelming due to sensory sensitivities, executive functioning barriers, or if you’ve struggled with ARFID and felt misunderstood, you’re not alone. You deserve care that honors your brain, body, and lived experience.

I believe that healing isn’t about forcing change—it’s about working with your brain, not against it. Together, we’ll explore ways to nourish yourself that feel safe, accessible, and aligned with your needs. My goal is to create a space where you can unlearn shame and build a more trusting relationship with food and your body.

You don’t have to fight against yourself to heal. Let’s work together to build a relationship with food and your body that feels more peaceful, flexible, and freeing. If this resonates with you, I’d love to connect.

What is Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapy?

Being neurodivergent in a world built for neurotypical brains can be exhausting. Whether you’re autistic, have ADHD, or suspect you might be neurodivergent, you deserve a therapist who sees and honors the way your brain works—without pathologizing it.

Neurodiversity-affirming therapy isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about working with your natural ways of thinking, feeling, and processing the world. Instead of forcing yourself to fit into systems that weren’t designed for you, we’ll focus on self-understanding, unlearning internalized shame, and building a life that supports you.

This might look like:
🧠 Exploring ways to meet your needs that align with your brain’s strengths
💛 Unpacking past experiences of masking, burnout, or feeling misunderstood
🍽️ Navigating eating challenges, executive functioning struggles, and sensory needs
✨ Learning to have more compassion for yourself exactly as you are

Therapy should be a space where you don’t have to explain or justify your experience—where you can show up fully as yourself and be met with understanding. If you’ve been looking for a therapist who truly gets it, you’ve come to the right place.

Healing from Religious Trauma

Leaving or questioning your faith can be one of the most disorienting experiences of your life—especially if your sense of identity, belonging, or safety was tied to a religious community. Religious trauma isn’t just about what happened to you; it’s about the messages you internalized, the fear that still lingers, and the ongoing impact on your relationships, self-trust, and even your body.

Whether you’re deconstructing harmful beliefs, grieving lost community, or working through religious-based shame around body image, sexuality, or identity, you don’t have to navigate it alone. My approach to religious trauma therapy is affirming, client-centered, and rooted in consent. There’s no expectation of where you should land in your beliefs—only a space to explore, process, and reclaim your own sense of self.

In our work together, we might focus on:
🌿 Unpacking religious conditioning and its impact on your self-worth
💡 Rebuilding trust in yourself—your intuition, desires, and autonomy
🏳️‍🌈 Healing from purity culture, LGBTQ+ oppression, or spiritual abuse
❤️‍🩹 Creating a life that feels meaningful on your own terms

Healing from religious trauma isn’t about replacing one rigid belief system with another—it’s about finding freedom, connection, and self-compassion in a way that feels right for you. If this resonates, I’d love to support you in your journey.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is an innovative, evidence-based treatment that combines the therapeutic potential of ketamine with the supportive guidance of psychotherapy. This approach can help create deep insights, ease emotional distress, and facilitate healing in a way that traditional talk therapy alone may not.

In KAP, ketamine is used as a catalyst to access and process emotions, patterns, and past experiences with greater openness and reduced psychological defenses. Under my guidance, we work together to integrate these experiences, making meaning of them and applying insights to your daily life and healing journey.

KAP may be particularly beneficial for individuals who have struggled with persistent depression, anxiety, trauma, or burnout—especially those who identify as neurodivergent or have a history of eating disorders. For neurodivergent individuals, KAP can provide relief from co-occurring depression, anxiety, and chronic stress, offering a new pathway toward self-understanding and resilience. For those healing from eating disorders, KAP can help disrupt rigid thought patterns, ease self-criticism, and cultivate a more compassionate relationship with your body and food.

If you’re curious about how KAP might support your healing, I invite you to reach out to explore whether this approach is right for you.
